Welcome from Summit Executive Director, Todd Joseph
Keynote address by nationally recognized researcher, professor, and author, Dr. Jane Halonen of the University of West Florida. Her talk is entitled "Defending the Psychology Major".
These are multiple sessions that are running at the same time (concurrent!). We will have various academic talks, as well as "Cafe Conversation" style events & workshops. Cafe Conversations are informal presentations by people in the field of psychology about their educational and career paths, followed by lots of opportunity for questions from the audience. Workshops are opportunities to learn and practice skills. At this summit, there will always be opportunities for questions and discussions!

Grab some food (provided) and a drink (also provided) and sit down with someone you just met and discuss psychology!
Find that person who gave the awesome concurrent session talk and ask them to have lunch with you; this is your chance to pick people's brains!
